FOTOTREFF BERLIN # 27

Loredana Nemes in conversation with Peter Bialobrzeski

>> Podcast <<

At FOTOTREFF # 27 in January, FOTOTREFF presents the work of the photographer Peter Bialobrzeski. In conversation with Loredana Nemes, artist and photographer, Bialobrzeski will talk about his way of working and in particular about his body of work „Die zweite Heimat/ The second home“. For five years, from 2011 to 2016, Peter Bialobrzeski traveled through Germany. He was on the road in large and small cities, towns and villages, but especially in between – where garage doors, lanterns and petrol stations are lined up. His work creates a photographic stock of the social surface of Germany.

FOTOTREFF BERLIN is a photographers and editors meeting and open for everybody who is interested in contemporary photography. It provides a critical discourse and adresses topics such as authorship, editing and presentation from various artistic and documentary perspectives.

FOTOTREFF BERLIN is initiated by Pauline Friesecke, Tobias Laukemper, Vanya Pieters, Anna Charlotte Schmid and Sarah Straßmann.
